Probing by soft catheter is the safest and cleanest method of feeding porridge.
The red series probes are of the highest quality. They differ due to the quality and texture of the silicone and the fact that they have a rounded tip. This facilitates their swallowing by the chicks.
The different diameters of probes allow the porridge to be supplied to the various species of psittacines at each moment of their development. Thus, for example, for gray parrots the 5 ml probe is suitable for feeding porridge to babies up to 7 days old. The 10 ml tube, for babies up to 14 days old. That of 20, until 4 weeks of age. From the month it is recommended to use the 50 ml probe.
It is important not to soak the probe with disinfectant because the material is damaged.
